AFF 2013 Fringe PlayList: Crazy and Curious Things

Putting on a Fringe show is tough. But Village Theatre, one of our intrepid venues, is crazy. Because they're doing FOUR fringe shows.
Yep. Crazy.
Crazy like a comedy fox.
They're doing a different show every day of the festival (twice on Saturday), including a Women's stand-up comedy showcase, a comedy folk-rock group, a sci-fi play called "Starship Starship" and Improv in the Dark, an improvised radio show performed, you guessed it, in the dark. Check out the breakdown on their fringe website for details and keep coming back for more!

Now, I think we need a theramin and lumina break, don't you?
That mad genius is Klimchak, a composer and musician and builder of beautiful, bizarre, incredible instruments. For a piece I worked on, Celeste Miller's "The Annunciation...sort of", he wheeled out an ordinary-looking desk which was actual A CRAZY AMAZING MUSICAL INSTRUMENT. My mind was blown. And yours can be too! Right after the Atlanta Fringe, our awesome HQ/Venue 7Stages is curating Curious Encounters a festival of interactive performances featuring artists like Klimchak, The Object Group, Saiah and more! You can catch a sneak peek of their festival in the 7Stages lobby between shows.
